Almost exactly a year after the release of their second album, the young band from Norwich returned with a third album, released this past April. Energetic (the record kicks off with two furious tracks) and feverish, Brown Horse remain untamed: they write, record, and hit the road.

Songs: Ohia, Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt (I really should write about those last two bands one of these days…) and, of course, Neil Young’s Crazy Horse are the obvious touchstones. A powerful American spirit blows across Norfolk. No complaints here.

Énergique (le disque démarre par deux morceaux furieux) et fiévreux, Brown Horse reste indompté : ils composent, enregistrent et partent sur les routes.

Songs: Ohia, Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt (il faudrait parler de ces deux derniers groupes un de ces jours…) et, bien entendu, le Crazy Horse de l’ami Neil Young sont les grandes influences qui viennent à l’esprit. Un puissant souffle américain balaie le Norfolk. On ne s’en plaint pas.
