Honestly, you have to be one hell of a fanatic to keep up with old Neil’s releases: live albums, new material, archival recordings… It’s all over the place! We must have close to forty of the guy’s records, and I’m not even sure that represents half of everything he’s put out…

A new album… notable for its almost testamentary quality… A mellow, reflective mood… Neil has always had an old-lady voice, so at over 80, it’s not exactly getting any better… Simple, straightforward words. Neil forever, of course. The favorite artist of this blog. Right at the top.

As for the video… well, he set up his camera and went for a drive. Now, you might say it looks like somewhere between Lyon and Clermont-Ferrand. Except here, there are bears and wolves in these forests. And the spirit of the Native Americans. That’s America for you.
