After Separations, Pulp found refuge at Gift Records and released two singles in which their distinctive style emerges very clearly: Babies and Razzmatazz… but which, oddly enough, still failed to fully find their audience. In the videos, Jarvis perfects his poses as a detached, decadent pop star. Everything that is Pulp is already here, without the success… which would come just afterwards…
Razzmatazz, a caustic diatribe addressed to an ex… which begins with this line:
“The trouble with your brother, he’s always sleeping with your mother.”

Après Separations, Pulp trouve refuge chez Gift Records et sort deux singles où leur patte se dessine très clairement : Babies et Razzmatazz… mais qui, bizarrement, ne trouvent pas encore tout à fait leur public. Jarvis, dans les clips, y parfait ses poses de pop star détachée et décadente. Il y a déjà tout Pulp ici, sans le succès… qui arrivera juste après…
