Noir, c’est noir, et si certains morceaux sont des sortes de ballades lugubres, on a aussi des trucs vraiment dérangés, comme par exemple The Never Ending Story… Même si, niveau noirceur absolue, rien ne semble pouvoir dépasser chez Pulp la chanson Tunnel, face B du single They Suffocate at Night, comme si Joy Division recréait White Light/White Heat (l’album fou du Velvet)… Tunnel est disponible sur la compilation Masters of the Universe.
