Brown Horse is a young English band (from Norwich, a more-than-livable city), and All the Right Weaknesses is their second album, written on the road and released last spring.

With their gaze firmly set on the U.S., they evoke Neil Young’s Zuma era or Jason Molina, while also carrying a noisy edge that sometimes recalls a certain American rock of the ’90s: untamed guitars with some boy-girl vocal harmonies, a crack in the voice, and a melodic sensibility that sweeps us away.

Brown Horse est un jeune groupe anglais (Norwich, ville plus qu’habitable) et All the Right Weaknesses est leur deuxième album, écrit sur la route et sorti au printemps dernier.

Le regard résolument tourné vers les U.S., on pense à Neil Young période Zuma ou encore à Jason Molina, sans oublier un côté bruyant que l’on pourrait rapprocher parfois d’un certain rock américain des années 90 : des guitares plutôt indomptées avec quelques harmonies vocales (fille-garçon), une petite fêlure dans la voix et un souci de la mélodie qui nous emportent.
